Summer is sadly coming to an end here in Maine, and although this means preparing for the six months of winter that lurk ahead, it also brings many exciting aspects of Foundry Jiu Jitsu back into focus. With the BBQs, vacations, and summer breaks out of the way classes are beginning to fill up again offering a wide variety of training partners with an array of skill levels to challenge all team members. Competition time is coming up and this means tough classes, cardio workouts, and a deeper focus on technique and timing. Take some time this month to identify and strengthen your weaknesses and to fortify your Go-To game. Supporting your teammates for competition begins NOW. Push each other and yourselves even when you think there is nothing left in the gas tank. Foundry!

It's been a great month of training for competition the team is looking great. I know the Foundry will represent well at the fall tournaments if we keep training hard and doing what we need to do.
