This past weekend twelve of our Foundry team members travelled to Springfield, MA for the NAGA East Coast Championships to compete in this high level BJJ competition against some of the toughest teams in the New England.  By the end of a very long day eight of our twelve team members placed, bringing home five 1st place medals (which included 2 championship belts in expert divisions) and three 2nd place medals.  We are proud of ALL of the team members who stepped out there on the mats.  Like we always say, if you are willing to get out there and put it all on the line you've already won!  All Foundry competitors demonstrated remarkable skill and sportsmanship and we are truly honored to have you by our side as part of the Foundry Family!

Matt Hyde - 1st Place in 11 y/o Beginner Nogi Division

Nick Gulliver - 1st Place in Men's Beginner Nogi

Well said I agree 100%.

Just a couple things I would like to add: Zack won his match by choke, Josh won his first match and lost his 3rd place match only by 1 advantage. Ben's silver came in a 14 man division and he defeated 2 opponents from top teams. Nick with only a few months traiming DOMINATED his no-gi matches he scared me a little LOL.

Mike and Christina showed A LOT of courage stepping up to do a big tournament as their first competition after training a relatively short time.

And I know Seth sacrifices a lot of his own training to train his students and you all made him proud!

I am proud of the Foundry Competition Team every tournament but this was truly above and beyond.

Foundry!
