Maine Skirmish Success!!!

The Foundry Family (Maine) competed at the Maine Skirmish this past weekend.  As always everyone that competed put it all out there and brought home a multitude of medals and trophies!  We are proud of all of the students who compete for their tireless commitment to training, and being willing to step outside their comfort zone and onto the mats.  I want to give a shout out to our MVP of the day, Nick Gulliver, for really stepping it up and competing in the advanced division as a white belt after finding out there was no one in his division.  Nick also competed in the absolute division and took second place!!  The final tally of medals is below.  Congrats to everyone who competed!

FGO Results - Team Foundry Strikes Again!!!

This past weekend Foundry Maine(Rangeley, Farmington, Biddeford) competed at the 5^th Annual Freestyle Grappling Open in Portland,Me. The entire team demonstrated amazing technical skill and extraordinary heart. It was obvious to all that Team Foundry had trained hard, and they were not leaving empty handed. The team was able to secure 14 medals (15 including our friends from Team Recluse) and invaluable experience from putting it all out there on the mats. Thank you to the Freestyle Grappling Open for another year of amazing competition and to all members of Team Foundry (and Recluse) for your commitment, heart, and team spirit. Thanks for being part of the Foundry Family!!!
